The non-profit agency - Airdrie and District Victims Assistance Society (ADVAS), was supported as an additional mission of focus from January - June 2024. ADVAS will be closing its doors after 31 years on August 31, 2024, and a government agency will be launched to take its place in the community. The staff and volunteers will be celebrated for their outstanding contributions and support to Airdrie during a farewell celebration Sunday September 8, 2024 from 1:00 - 3:00pm at the Amphitheatre Nose Creek Provincial Park. The parish of St. Francis of Assisi Airdrie thanks this organization and its team for their commitment and supports to our community.
